At the headquarters of the Iraqi Project Finance Company, a meeting was held with representatives of the World Bank, namely:

Mrs. Arena, Regional Director for the Middle East and North Africa

Mr. Mohamed Abdel Qader, Director of the Private Sector Support Programme

Mr. Anas Chalabi, Program Officer for the Private Sector and Financial Sector

Mr. Saeed Mahdi, Director of the Financial Sector

During the meeting, the financing situation in Iraq was discussed. The Assistant Managing Director explained the company’s history, how it works, what are the company’s future aspirations, the company’s structure and its divisions, and we explained the company’s need for training for its staff and briefed it on the experiences of the financing sector in neighboring countries, in addition to financial support for expansion.
