A delegation from the Iraqi Company for Financing Small and Medium Enterprises visited the headquarters of the French Embassy in Baghdad, where a meeting took place with the assistants of the head of the economic department at the embassy.

During the meeting, a brief presentation was given about the company, explaining its role in supporting financing through banks, in addition to direct lending through its widespread network of branches. He also reviewed the areas of existing cooperation with a number of international organizations, including:International Labor Organization, andWorld Bank, andUnited Nations Development Programme, especially in the areas of youth training and women’s empowerment.

For their part, French Embassy officials praised the company's efforts and its role in supporting development projects, expressing their interest in enhancing future cooperation, especially in the areas of transferring expertise and providing technical support for projects directed toward areas of high need. This visit comes within the framework of the Iraqi company's keenness to expand its international partnerships and discuss opportunities that contribute to empowering small and medium enterprises and supporting sustainable development in Iraq.
