The Diwan Al-Qashla announced the launch of its Ramadan event under the auspices of the Tamkeen Fund, which is supervised by the Central Bank and the Association of Iraqi Private Banks. The role of the Ministry of Culture is considered important in holding these events after the facilities provided by the Ministry in opening the doors of Al-Qashla in the evening. Diwan Al-Qashla said in a press statement, “Diwan Al-Qashla will launch its daily activities for the month of Ramadan after breakfast and will continue until the end of the month,” noting that the activities consist of organizing cultural, economic, youth, and other seminars daily, in addition to a small book fair and a daily business market. He noted that all events are held with financial support from the Tamkeen Fund, which is supervised by the Central Bank and the Association of Private Banks, in addition to the sponsorship of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Culture. He stressed that Diwan Al-Qashla is a non-governmental organization whose goal is to support Iraqi culture and economy through activities that are discussed on a daily basis in the presence of major elites, in addition to supporting the national industry through a permanent exhibition of local businesses.
